Michael Flatley to make B'way debut in Dangerous Games

Irish dance star Michael Flatley will make his Broadway debut and also celebrate his retirement in Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games. Previews begin at the Lyric Theatre on 7 November 2015, before an official opening on 10 November and a limited run through to 3 January 2016.

Created and directed by Michael Flatley, the show will also feature a special encore performance by the man himself, and will star his protégés Morgan Comer, James Keegan and Cathal Keaney in the title role of the "Lord of the Dance."

Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games features "exciting and ground-breaking new technology, including holographs, special effects lighting, dancing robots, world champion acrobats and of course the greatest team of Irish Dancers in the world."

Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games also features an original score composed by Gerard Fahy. It is produced on Broadway by Michael Flatley and Live Nation.

In London's West End, the production has completed limited enagagements at both the London Palladium and Dominion Theatre and will also return to the Playhouse Theatre from 10 October 2015 to 3 January 2016.

Michael Flatley's other dance credits include 'Riverdance,' 'Lord of the Dance,' 'Feet of Flames,' and 'Celtic Tiger.'
