Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Amy Schumer makes her Broadway debut tonight in Tony Award nominee Steve Martin's new comedy Meteor Shower. The limited engagement plays the Booth Theatre, which has reported the largest advance sales in the venue's 104-year history (over $7,500,000). Performances run through to January 21, 2018, with an official opening night scheduled for November 29.

Also making his Broadway debut alongside Ms. Schumer (as Corky) is Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael Key (as Gerald). They are joined by Tony Award winner Laura Benanti (as Laura) and Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos (as Norm).

Synopsis: "Meteor Shower takes place on a hot night in Ojai, California, when Corky and her husband Norm are having another couple over for dinner. Laura and Gerald, though, aren't looking for a casual evening of polite small talk with new friends. Eventually, the two couples find themselves in a marital free-fall matched in velocity and peril only by the smoldering space rocks tearing through the sky."

Directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, the creative team behind Meteor Shower features scenic design by Tony Award winner Beowulf Borritt, costume design by Tony Award winner Ann Roth, lighting design by six-time Tony Award winner Natasha Katz, and sound design by Fitz Patton.

Meteor Shower is produced on Broadway by Joey Parnes Productions.

Amy Schumer earned a Golden Globe nomination for "Trainwreck" in 2016 and won an Emmy Award for "Inside Amy Schumer" in 2015.
