Mathew Broderick & Tate Donovan join the line-up for Celebrity Autobiography on Broadway

The Broadway premiere of Celebrity Autobiography debuts as the Marquis Theatre tonight!

Two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick and Tate Donovan have joined the star-studded line-up for the previously announced Broadway premiere of Celebrity Autobiography, which debuts at the Marquis Theatre tonight and will play two additional performances on December 10 and December 17. Both veterans of stage and screen are set to appear in tonight's performance.

Matthew Broderick won Tony Awards for his performances in Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983) and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995) and earned a Tony nomination for his performance as Leo Bloom in The Producers in 2001. His other Broadway credits include SylviaIt's Only a PlayNice Work If You Can Get ItThe Philanthropist, and The Odd Couple, among others, and he was inducted into the Theater Hall of Fame in 2017.

Tate Donovan last appeared on the Great White Way in the 2011 premiere of Good People. He also starred in the Broadway productions of Amy's View in 1999 and Picnic in 1994.

Created by Emmy Award nominee Eugene Pack and developed by Pack alongside Dayle Reyfel, Celebrity Autobiography was first staged in Los Angeles in 1998 and went on to gain grain popularity thanks to a 2005 television special on Bravo. Beginning in 2008, Celebrity Autobiography has been regularly mounted off-Broadway at the Triad, featuring a stellar line-up of comedic actors performing from the actual memoirs of a wide variety of stars, ranging from Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Eddie Fisher to Richard Burton. It has since been performed in London's West End, in Edinburgh, and at Australia's Sydney Opera House.
