Producers of the Broadway comedy Living On Love have announced an early closing date of 3 May 2015. The production will have played only 21 previews and 16 regular performances upon closing.

Producers Scott Landis and Philip Morgaman released the following statement:

"It has truly been an honor and a joy to bring this hilarious and touching new play to Broadway. It's disappointing that we weren't able to find a large enough audience during this overwhelmingly busy time of the Broadway season. We couldn't be more proud of this amazing cast and creative team who made Living On Love a labor of love. We hope folks will get over to the Longacre to see their fantastic work before the final performance this Sunday."
Living on Love is a new comedy by Joe DiPietro, based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin, and is directed by Kathleen Marshall. Previews began at Broadway's Longacre Theatre on 1 April 2015, and officially opened on 20 April. It was originally scheduled to close on 2 August 2015.

Synopsis: "Fleming stars as celebrated opera diva Raquel De Angelis. When Vito, her larger-than-life maestro husband, becomes enamoured with the lovely young lady hired to ghost-write his largely fictional autobiography, Raquel retaliates by hiring her own handsome, young scribe to chronicle her life as an opera star. Sparks fly, silverware is thrown, and romance blossoms in the most unexpected ways."

The cast of Living on Love includes 4-time Grammy Award winner Renée Fleming (Raquel De Angelis), Tony nominee Douglas Sills (Vito De Angelis), Jerry O'Connell (Robert Samson), Emmy nominee Anna Chlumsky (Iris Peabody), Blake Hammond (Bruce), and Scott Robertson (Eric).

The creative team for Living On Love features scenic design by Derek McLane, costumes by Michael Krass, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski, and sound design by Scott Lehrer. Rob Fisher will act as Music Consultant.

Living on Love is produced by Scott Landis, Philip Morgaman, Ryan Chang, TNT Dynamite Productions, Just For Laughs Theatricals, Glass Half Full Productions, Stephanie P. McClelland and John Yonover.

The production was first produced and presented in July 2014 in Williamstown Massachusetts by the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
