Did you go to training school, if so which one?
I studied theater at Middlebury College and the NYU Graduate Acting Program.

Your first stage performance was?
The Tiny Little Man In The Woods in Hansel and Gretel when I was 9.

Career highlight to date?
Current role of Black Stache in Peter and the Star Catcher, Luther Billis in South Pacific, Hamlet in Hamlet

What roles would you most like to play?
Estragon in Waiting for Godot, Lopakhin in The Cherry Orchard, Tom in A Glass Menagerie, King Lear.

What's the best advice you have ever received?
Don't give up.

What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage?
When I was 9 being hustled onto a church stage with a bunch of kids in Mexico who I did not know to sing a series of songs I had never heard before in a language I did not speak.

Briefly tell us about the character you play in Peter and the Starcatcher?
Black Stache is Peter Pan's arch rival. He is alternately bumbling and dashing. Like any pirate worth his salt, he loves treasure and the thrill of the chase.

What was the last Broadway show you saw?
Emily Mann's revival of A Streetcar Named Desire.

What was the last book you read, and name some of your favorite authors?
Los de Abajo by Mariano Azuela. William Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway, Gabriel García Márquez, John Steinbeck.

What was the last film you saw, and name some of your favorite movies?
Shoot the Piano Player by Francois Truffaut was the last film I saw. The Godfather by Coppola, The White Diamond by Werner Herzog. El Espíritu de la Colmena (Spirit of the Beehive) by Victor Erice, The Twilight Samurai by Yoji Yamada.

Favorite TV programs?
The Muppet Show, Sanford and Son, Star Trek, The News Hour.

Favorite holiday destinations?
Home.

Do you have any hobbies?
Playing and recording music, golf, cooking.

Do you have any superstitions?
At times my dreams are prophetic.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
A serious knife, a box of strike anywhere waterproof matches, a poncho.

What are your future plans?
Not to get stranded on a desert island.
