You now live in?
Washington Heights, but I still have my house in Minneapolis.

Did you go to training school, if so which one?
I went to a small Liberal Arts college in Iowa called Luther College, and studied classical voice.

As an actor, do you have a preference for stage, TV or film?
Pretty much only done stage. I have done a couple commercials, and that money was sweet, but not enough experience to say what I prefer.

Your first stage performance was?
Some sort of who-done-it in 6th grade, that is if you call the school cafeteria a stage.

Career highlight to date?
Doing Power Balladz in NYC is a pretty big highlight.

What roles would you most like to play?
The ones I haven't heard of yet.

What's the best advice you have ever received?
No matter where you are the job is the job, so big or small do it as best you can.

What has been your most embarrassing moment on stage?
Probably when I dropped a fake pie twice in one week. Nothing says prop like a painted foam pie hitting the floor.

What is the most annoying part about your job?
My own self doubt.

Briefly tell us how you become involved with Power Balladz?
I heard about it from a friend and asked if I could audition. From there on out it was true love.

Briefly tell us about the character you play in Power Balladz?
He holds a P.H.D. in literature with a focus on the Power Ballad as epic verse. I think that speaks volumes.

If you had not become a performer, what might you have done instead?
I don't know, a veterinarian or a Rocket Scientist maybe.

Who are your favorite actors/actresses?
Mike Todaro/Mike Todaro in drag.

If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and what would you say to them?
I would love to meet Freddie Mercury, and I would probably say, "Holy shit! You're Freddie Mercury!!"

Favorite after-show haunts?
D.J. Reynolds on 57th has treated me very well since I've been in town.

What was the last book you read, and name some of your favorite authors?
All I can say is, Kinky Friedman.

What was the last film you saw, and name some of your favorite movies?
The last movie I saw was Crazy Heart. Jeff Bridges was awesome. Love: Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Hustler, Last of the Mohicans, and Real Genius.

Favorite TV programs?
Deadwood, Weeds, Carnival, The Venture Brothers.

Favorite holiday destinations?
I tend to work during the holidays, so home is usually a good one.

Do you have any hobbies?
I really enjoy golf and disc golf. I have also been learning to sew in the last year or so.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
huge box of matches, a really great knife, and a book about how to survive on a desert island.

Do you have any superstitions?
None that I can think of.

What are your future plans?
Have a great run with Power Balladz and see what the world has to offer after that.
