Harry Potter and the Cursed Child centers on the next generation of Hogwarts students: the children of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy. Harry and Draco's sons, Albus and Scorpius, become fast friends at Hogwarts and get swept up in a time-traveling adventure to right past wrongs from Harry and his friends' school days. However, Harry, Ron, and Hermione must get involved once more as the boys unwittingly unleash dark magical forces they'd all long thought were gone.
Jack Thorne wrote the six-time Tony-winning play based on his, J. K. Rowling, and John Tiffany's original story. Cursed Child premiered on Broadway in 2018 as a two-part play, and has been reworked into a one-part play as of 2021.
