The celebrations mark Disney’s fourth year of Women’s Day on Broadway.

To commemorate International Women’s Day next month, Disney on Broadway have announced early plans for their Women’s Day on Broadway initiative. For the fourth consecutive year, Disney will praise the power of women in theatre, with celebrations taking place on March 12.
This year’s theme is “Reflecting Courageously, Transforming Collectively” and will be held virtually on the first anniversary of the shutdown of Broadway theatres. According to press material, events will “inspire each attendee to drive change, make an impact, and discuss how to keep moving forward amid this unprecedented and challenging time.”
A full schedule of events, as well as featured speakers and registration information is to be announced.
Disney shows currently suspended on Broadway include The Lion King and Aladdin. Frozen will not return to St. James Theatre once Broadway reopens.
