Harry Connick, Jr. - A Celebration of Cole Porter will play a three-week limited engagement at the Nederlander Theatre on Broadway from December 7, 2019.

Grammy and Emmy Award-winning musician and actor Harry Connick, Jr. returns to Broadway this December to headline a three-week limited engagement at the Nederlander TheatreHarry Connick, Jr. - A Celebration of Cole Porter is set to begin preview performances on December 7, 2019, ahead of an official opening on December 12, and will play its final performances on December 29, 2019.

Synopsis: "Featuring a vibrant, 25-piece orchestra and a modern, multi-media presentation, this entirely new production brings back to Broadway both the magic of Cole Porter's compositions and one of the world's most celebrated live performers. Connick will delight audiences with a signature style that has been called by The New York Times "blatantly seductive" while celebrating Porter's peerless contribution to the Great American Songbook."

A Celebration of Cole Porter features scenic design by Beowulf Boritt & Alexis Distler, projection design by Beowulf Boritt & Caite Hevner, and lighting design by Ken Billington.

Harry Connick, Jr. is a two-time Tony Award nominee, who was last seen on Broadway in the 2011 premiere of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. He earned his Tony nominations in 2006 for "Best Actor in a Musical" for his performance in The Pajama Game and in 2002 for "Best Original Musical Score" for both his music and his lyrics for Thou Shalt Not. He has previously entertained Broadway audiences with concert engagements on the Great White Way in 1990 and 2010.

This all-new production of A Celebration of Cole Porter is conceived and directed by Harry Connick, Jr. and produced on Broadway by Connick Performances, James L. Nederlander and Grove Entertainment.
