Classic Stage Company's upcoming production of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus, starring Chris Noth and directed by Andrei Belgrader, has extended its limited run. Previews will now begin on 2 June 2015, before an official opening on 18 June, and the final performance will now take place on 12 July 2015. It was previously booking through to 2 July 2015.

Synopsis: "In Doctor Faustus, a pact with the devil brings boundless knowledge and endless gratification. There's just one little catch... Marlowe's ever-irreverent play remains as ahead of its time today as it was when it first scandalized audiences some four hundred years ago."

The cast of Doctor Faustus includes Chris Noth (Faustus), Tony nominee Zach Grenier (Mephistopheles), with Jeff Binder, Ken Cheeseman, Carmen M. Herlihy, Walker Jones, Marina Lazzaretto, Geoffrey Owens, and Lucas Caleb Rooney.

The creative team features scenic design by Tony Straiges, lighting design by Jason Lyons, costume design by Rita Ryack and Martin Schnellinger and sound design and original music by Fabian Obispo.

Chris Noth is most commonly known for his TV roles in 'Sex and the City', 'Law & Order' and 'The Good Wife', and has starred on Broadway in the 2011 revival of 'That Championship Season' by Jason Miller, and the 2000 revival of Gore Vidal's 'The Best Man'.
