Creative team announced for An Act of God at Studio 54

Producer Jeffrey Finn has announced the complete creative team for Broadway's upcoming new comedy An Act of God, which will play a limited engagement at the historic Studio 54, beginning previews on 5 May 2015, with an official opening on 28 May, and continuing through to 2 August 2015.

The creative team features scenic design by Tony Award winner Scott Pask, costumes by Tony nominee David Zinn, lighting by Tony Award winner Hugh Vanstone, sound design by Fitz Patton, projections by Peter Nigrini... and angel wing design by... God.

An Act of God, stars four-time Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons playing the role of 'God,' and is directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello.

The comedy is based on the book 'The Last Testament: A Memoir By God' transcribed by David Javerbaum who has won 13 Emmy Awards for his work as a head writer and executive producer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".

Synopsis: "The King of the Universe is tackling His greatest challenge yet: Broadway. This spring, God takes the form of four-time Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Jim Parsons in An Act of God, a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. He's finally arrived to set the record straight... and He's not holding back!"

Casting of God's two angels will be announced at a later date.
