Complete cast & creatives announced for Clever Little Lies
Complete casting and creative team have now been announced for Joe DiPietro's new comedy Clever Little Lies at the Westside Theatre, which runs from 18 September 2015 to 3 January 2016, with an official opening set for 14 October 2015.
George Merrick takes on the role of Bill Jr. and joins previously announced Emmy, Golden Globe, and Grammy Award-winner Marlo Thomas (Alice), Greg Mullavey (Bill Sr.) and Kate Wetherhead (Jane).
The creative team behind Clever Little Lies features scenic design by Yoshi Tanokura, costume design by Esther Arroyo, lighting design by Christopher J. Bailey, and sound design & composition by Scott Killian.
Synopsis: "A mother always knows when something is wrong. When Alice (Ms. Thomas) notices her beloved husband Bill has returned home on edge after a tennis match with their son, she grows suspicious and springs into action. Determined to piece together the puzzle, she invites her son and daughter-in-law over for drinks and dessert."
Clever Little Lies is directed by David Saint and produced by Joan Raffe, Jhett Tolentino and Douglas Denoff.
DiPietro's comedy made its world premiere at George Street Playhouse in 2013 and ran last summer at Guild Hall.
