'Wild Women of Planet Wongo' at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre

Wild Women of Planet Wongo, a rock sci-fi musical with book by Steve Mackes, music by Dave Ogrin, with lyrics by Ben Budick, Steve Mackes & Dave Ogrin, and based on a concept by Ben Budick, plays at Theatre Row 's Beckett Theatre from the 13 - 25 Sep 2005. Part of the Second New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Blast off for zany sci-fi adventure as two astronauts and their robot crash a planet of sexy, beautiful women. Destination: a far-out, 60's-inspired, rock musical comedy where youth, idealism, true love, lust, revolution and snack food triumph over warped authority.

Wild Women of Planet Wongo won the 2005 National Music Theater Network's Directors Choice Award.

Directed by John Langs, Wild Women of Planet Wongo features John Cariani (Hermie), Max Perlman (Louie LaFever), Alicia Irving (Queen Rita) .
