Vengence Can Wait at Performance Space 122

Performance Space 122, in conjunction with Queens Theatre in the Park and The Immediate Theatre Company, present Vengence Can Wait, a kinky comedy about love, submission, and sweet revenge by Yukiko Motoya, co-translated by Kyoko Yoshida and Andy Bragen, at Performance Space 122 from 25 Apr - 4 May 2008.

Vengence Can Wait: Takes a peek into Japanese sub-culture as it charts a different kind of love story. A couple has the perfect domestic relationship: he spends his days planning the perfect revenge, while she awaits her perfect punishment. Dark, twisted and touching, the couple come to understand the 'kinks' in their relationship - and embrace them.

Directed by Jose Zayas, Vengence Can Wait features Pun Bandhu, Paul H. Juhn, Jennifer Lim and Becky Yamamoto.

The creative team comprises Ryan Elliot Kravetz (sets), Carla Bellisio (costumes), Evan Purcell (lighting) and Matthew Tennie (sound).
