Directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan, Time Stands Still stars Laura Linney, Brian d'Arcy James and Eric Bogosian and Christina Ricci.

Time Stands Still enjoyed an extended sold-out run at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre last spring and re-opened on 7 Oct 2010 at Broadway's Cort Theatre for a limited engagement that was originally scheduled to end on 23 Jan 2011.

Time Stands Still opened at the Cort Theatre to mostly excellent reviews: Intimacy of the heart and soul that leaves you elevated" (newyorktheatreguide.com); Rewarding play (NY Times); Smart, funny, touching, tightly written and very wise (Record).

Time Stands Still: Are we supposed to deny ourselves ordinary happiness because there's misery in the world? James and Sarah (Linney), a journalist and a photographer, have been together for nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when injuries force them to return home to New York, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Rita Ryack (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Darron L West (sound design), Peter Golub (original music), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).

The drama is produced on Broadway by Manhattan Theatre Club Productions, Inc. (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove Executive Producer), Nelle Nugent, Bud Martin, Ted Snowden, and Wendy Federman.
