Roundabout Theatre Company has named the complete cast and creative team for The Imaginary Invalid on Broadway, the first production in its 2026-27 season. Performances run at the Todd Haimes Theatre from September 25 to November 22, with opening night on October 22.

Joining the previously announced Bill Irwin as Argan are Tony Award nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Smash, The Prom) as Dr. Diafoirus/Purgon, Tony and Emmy nominee Dylan Baker (The Good Wife) as Beralde, Golden Globe winner Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) in her Broadway debut as Toinette, Hiram Delgado (Take Me Out) as Bonnefoy/Thomas/Fleurant, Theatre World Award winner Crystal A. Dickinson (You Can’t Take It With You) as Beline, Daniel Croix Henderson (Much Ado About Nothing) in his Broadway debut as Cleante, and Ava Lalezarzadeh (English) as Angelique.

Irwin also newly adapted Molière's classic comedy about a hypochondriac man whose plan to marry his daughter to a doctor for free healthcare goes awry. Irwin's adaptation is based on Doug Skinner's translation of The Imaginary Invalid, and it is staged by Tony nominee Brandon J. Dirden in his Broadway directorial debut.

The Imaginary Invalid also has set design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Karen Perry, lighting design by Allen Lee Hughes, sound design and original music by John Gromada, hair and wig design by Nikiya Mathis, and movement direction by Lorenzo Pisoni.
