The Right Kind Of People at 59E59's Theater A

Primary Stages presents The Right Kind Of People, by Charles Grodin, opening at 59E59's Theater A on the 9 Feb 2006, following previews from the 24 Jan and running through to the 5 Mar 2006.

The Right Kind Of People is a biting send-up of a fashionable Fifth Avenue co-op board, where issues of race, gender and social status simmer just beneath the surface.

This comedy comes to Primary Stages following its world premiere at the Magic Theatre in San Francisco, where it was one of the highest grossing shows in that theatre's 37-year history.

The Right Kind Of People's cast, directed by Chris Smith, features Doris Belack, Stephen Bradbury, Fred Burrell, Mitch Greenberg, Keith Jochim, Katherine Leask, Ed Owens, Robert Stanton, Evan Thompson and John C. Vennema.

The comedy has set design by Annie Smart, costumes by Jenny Mannis, lighting by Russell Champa and sound by Fabian Obispo.
