The Philanderer: Pearl announces full cast

The Pearl Theatre Company has announced the full cast for its upcoming production of George Bernard Shaw's comedy The Philanderer, directed by Gus Kaikkonen, opening at NY City Center's Stage II on the 22 Jan 2012, following previews from 10 Jan, and running through to 19 Feb 2012.

The cast will feature Pearl Theatre Company members Rachel Botchan (Grace Tranfield), Bradford Cover (Leonard Charteris), Dominic Cuskern (Mr. Cuthbertson), Dan Daily (Colonel Craven), Chris Mixon (Dr. Paramore).

Joining The Pearl's company members are three guest actors, Shalita Grant (Sylvia Craven) and Karron Graves (Julia Craven), who will both be making their debut with the company, and Chris Richards (Page Boy) who is making his Pearl mainstage debut after being a part of the Pearl's Acting Apprentice program last season.

The Philanderer follows the misadventures of one Leonard Charteris, the title character whose simultaneous involvements with two women threaten his equilibrium while sharpening his power of speech.

The Pearl Theatre Company's 28th season began with Ionesco's 'The Bald Soprano,' which played from 8 Nov to 24 Dec 2011. It continues with its current production of 'Richard II' playing through to 28 Dec 2011, the season continues with The Philanderer by Bernard Shaw in Jan 2012, and will conclude with 'A Moon For The Misbegotten' by Eugene O'Neill in March 2012.
