Tue 31 Aug 2004 'The Paris Letter' will be at the Laura Pels Theatre from 13 May 2005 Roundabout Theatre Company's The Paris Letter will play at the Laura Pels Theatre from the 13 May 2005 This is a limited engagement through to 7 Aug 2005 Playwright Jon Robin Baitz works include Chinese Friends, an adaptation of Hedda Gabbler, Ten Unknowns, Mizlansky/Zilinsky or Schmucks, A Fair Country, The Film Society, The Substance of Fire, The End of the Day and Three Hotels. Television: The West Wing. Screenplays include The Substance of Fire and The People I Know. Directed by Doug Hughes, a resident director at MCC Theater. Hughes recently directed the Broadway drama "Frozen" for which he received a Tony, Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle nomination. Casting and full creative team to be announced shortly. Synopsis: The Paris Letter is about wall Street powerhouse Sandy Sonenberg who finds his personal and professional life threatened by the unraveling secrets of his past. A tragic game of financial and moral betrayal is played out over four decades and between two friends at the cost of family, friendship, love and marriage.
