'The Little Prince' at the Pelican Studio Theatre



Nicu's Spoon Productions Theatre Company presents The Little Prince, a stage adaptation of Antoine de Saint Exup�ry children's story, by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, at the Pelican Studio Theatre from the 6 - 31 Jul 2005.

The Little Prince tells the story of a world-weary and disenchanted Aviator whose plane strands him in the Sahara Desert. With only enougth water to survive a few days, he struggles in a race against time to repair his aircraft, when a mysterious, regal "little man" appears and asks him to "Please, sir, draw me a sheep." in the process teaching him the truth about what really matters in life.

The cast features Bart Mallard as the Aviator, twins Maria and Angela Popovic from Croatia as the Little Prince, and performers from Brazil, India, the Sioux Nation, and more.

The theatre company recommends no children under 5 attend as there are serious moments and a death in the play.
