Terrell Baker: Out To Be Doscovered: In this hour-long show Terrell Baker charts his musical career from its roots in the Pentecostal church to working as an out gay performer in the cabarets of New York City. Blending soul, R&B, and Broadway songs, this autobiographical mini-musical explores his journey of self discovery�and discovery by others.
Terrell Baker began singing at the age of five in Boston in his church's Tiny Tots Choir. As he grew older, he sang in his elementary and middle school choirs, and produced, directed, and performed in his high school's talent show. He performed at various events in the Boston area, including singing the national anthem at Fenway Park before a Red Sox game. After high school, he moved to New York City and has been performing at various cabaret clubs including Dillion's and Don't Tell Mama.
