TACT and GTG announce full cast of Widowers' Houses

TACT (The Actors Company Theatre) and GTG (Gingold Theatrical Group) have announced complete casting of their upcoming revival of George Bernard Shaw's first-ever play Widowers' Houses, directed by David Staller, which will begin previews at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre on 1 March 2016, before an official opening on 13 March and a limited run through to 2 April 2016.

The cast of Widowers' Houses includes Jeremy Beck (Dr. Harry Trench), Jonathan Hadley (William De Burgh Cokane), Hanna Cheek (Waitress/Annie), Terry Layman (Sartoius), Talene Monahon (Blanche Sartorius) and John Plumpis (Lickcheese).

Synopsis: "Young gentleman doctor Harry Trench and his companion William Cokane are touring the continent when Harry meets a lovely young woman, Blanche Sartorius, daughter of a wealthy London landowner. Blanche and Harry's admiration is mutual and their happy union seems assured until the unsavory source of the Sartorius fortune comes to light."

The creative team has also been announced and features scenic design by Brian Prather, lighting design by Peter West, costume design by Barbara A. Bell, sound design by Toby Jaguar Algya, and prop design by Lytza Colon.
