Spring Awakening at the Atlantic Theater

Atlantic Theatre Company presents the world premiere of the musical Spring Awakening, music by Duncan Sheik, book and lyrics by Steven Sater, opening at the Atlantic Theater on the 15 Jun 2006, following previews from the 18 May and running through to the 9 Jul 2006.

Spring Awakening: Adapted from Frank Wedekind's controversial masterpiece about a dozen young people and how they make their way through the thrilling, complicated, confusing and mysterious time of their sexual awakening.

Spring Awakening's cast, directed by Michael Mayer, features Frank Wood, Mary McCann, John Gallagher Jr., Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele, Christopher Clark, Michele Cobham, Lilli Cooper, Chris Garneau, Jared Goldstein, Brian Johnson, Lauren Pritchard, Jonathan B. Wright and Remy Zaken.

The musical has set design by Christine Jones, costumes by Susan Hilferty, lighting by Kevin Adams and sound by Brian Ronin.
