Sisters' Dance at the Rose Nagelberg Theater


Emerging Artists Theatre presents Sisters' Dance, by Sarah Hollister, opening at the Rose Nagelberg Theater at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on 9 Feb 2008, following previews from 6 Feb and running through to 2 Mar 2008.

Sisters' Dance is presented as part of Emerging Artists Theatre's 2008 Triple Threat Premiere.

Sisters' Dance is about two estranged sisters, Fleur and Alice, who reunite on the family farm after the death of their mother. Long held resentment simmers to the surface when they realize their mother's will is still forcing them to cooperate. When Alice's husband and Fleur's hustler boyfriend enter the picture the sisters' dance becomes one of betrayal and seduction.

Directed by Paul Adams, Sisters' Dance features Blanche Cholet, Laura Foi, Janice Mann, Nick Ruggeri and Chuck Saculla.

The creative team comprises Brian Garber (sets), Melanie Blythe (costumes), G. Benjamin Swope (lighting) and Kristyn R. Smith (sound).
