Port Authority adds two extra performances

Atlantic Theater Company have announced additional performances to the New York premiere production of Oliver Award winning and Tony Award nominated playwright Conor McPherson�s play Port Authority

The limited engagement, which extended through to 22 Jun 2008 before previews even began, has added two extra performances to the shows run.

Port Authority began previews on 30 Apr 2008, and officially opened 21 May 2008 at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater.

Directed by Henry Wishcamper, Port Authority features Tony Award nominee Brian d�Arcy James (Sweet Smell of Success), Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr (Spring Awakening) and Tony Award nominee Jim Norton (The Seafarer).

Set against the backdrop of contemporary Dublin, Port Authority weaves the stories of three generations of Irishmen as they experience loss, failure and the elusiveness of love.

The design team for Port Authority features scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Jenny Mannis, lighting design by Matthew Richards and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
