Playwrights Horizons and Clubbed Thumb have now announced complete casting for the four-week limited engagement of Men On Boats, written by Jaclyn Backhaus and directed by Will Davis, which will begin previews on 20 July 2016 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, before an official opening on 1 August and a limited engagement through to 14 August 2016.

Joining previously announced Hannah Cabell (OG), Danielle Davenport (Hall), Danaya Esperanza (Seneca), Donnetta Lavinia Grays (Sumner), Birgit Huppuch (Goodman), Layla Khoshnoudi (Bradley), Kelly McAndrew (Powell), and Kristen Sieh (Dunn), will be Jocelyn Bioh (Hawkins) and Elizabeth Kenny (Old Shady).

Synopsis: "Ten explorers. Four boats. One Grand Canyon. Men On Boats is the joyfully anachronistic retelling of the 1869 Powell expedition, when a one-armed captain and a crew of insane yet loyal volunteers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River."

The creative team features scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonado, costume design by Ásta Bennie Hostetter, lighting design by Solomon Weisbard and sound design by Jane Shaw.

Men On Boats originally premiered in June 2015 as part of Clubbed Thumb's Summerworks festival.
