Picked extends run by one week



The Vineyard Theatre's world-premiere of Christopher Shinn's Picked, directed by Michael Wilson, extends its run at the Vineyard Theatre by one week, and will now play through to 22 May 2011.

Picked opened at The Vineyard Theatre on the20 Apr 2011, following previews from 5 Apr, and was originally scheduled to close on 15 Apr 2011.

Picked concerns a young actor who prepares for his life to change when a legendary director casts him as the lead in a big-budget Hollywood movie. But he is not prepared for what comes next, and everything he knows about himself will be called into question as he discovers what it means to be "picked."

The cast features Michael Stahl-David, Mark Blum, Donna Hanover, Tom Lipinski and Liz Stauber.

The creative team includes set design by Rachel Hauck, costumes by Mattie Ullrich, lighting by Russell Champa and sound by Jill BC DuBoff.
