Past Half Remembered: An extraordinary tale in which a band of six madcap actors-cum-musicians put down their instruments long enough to unravel the story of Maria, a 100-year old woman who survived a century of turmoil in Russia.
The New International Theatre Encounter (NIE) is an international and multilingual collaboration between theater professionals from different European countries and traditions. The core of the group is comprised of six artists from Britain, Poland, Czech Republic and Norway. NIE works in conjunction with different European theaters, institutions and artists, uniting performers, directors, designers, musicians and technicians to create theater in a multilingual, collaborative environment. Actors perform in their native languages, and the company works to make sure all performances are understandable despite language barriers.
