Oh The Humanity And Other Good Intentions at the Flea Theater



Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei is to star in the Flea Theater's world premiere of Oh The Humanity And Other Good Intentions, by Pulitzer Prize finalist Will Eno, opening at the Flea Theater on 29 Nov 2007, following previews from 3 Nov and running through to 22 Dec 2007.

Marisa Tomei received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'My Cousin Vinny.' Tomei took a dramatic turn with "In the Bedroom," earning her second Academy Award Nomination. Marisa will be seen this fall in Sidney Lumet's drama, 'Before the Devil Knows You're Dead', alongside Ethan Hawke and Philip Seymour Hoffman. On stage, Tomei was seen last year on Broadway opposite Al Pacino and Dianne Wiest in Oscar Wilde's 'Salome' (2003 revival) in the title role.

Oh The Humanity And Other Good Intentions: Five short plays about people like you, facing lives like yours. About life, in a word.

The five pieces include: Behold The Coach, In Sorrow, Uninsured; Ladies and Gentlemen: The Rain; Enter the Spokeswoman, Sideways; The Bully Composition and Oh, the Humanity.

Directed by Jim Simpson, Oh The Humanity And Other Good Intentions will also feature Brian Hutchison and Drew Hildebrand.

The creative team features Kyle Chepulis (set), and Claudia Brown (costume) Brian Aldous (lighting) and Jill BC DuBoff (sound).
