Official Broadway production photos released for Grand Horizons
The Broadway premiere of Bess Wohl's Grand Horizons is set for an official opening at The Hayes Theater on January 23, 2020.
Second Stage Theater has now released official production photography for its current Broadway premiere of Bess Wohl's Grand Horizons, directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman.
The new shots depict the entire star-studded Broadway cast, which includes Tony & Emmy Award winner Jane Alexander (as Nancy), Emmy Award winner James Cromwell (as Bill), Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez (as Carla), Ben McKenzie (making his Broadway debut as Ben), Maulik Pancholy (as Tommy), Tony Award nominee Ashley Park (as Jess), and Michael Urie (as Brian).
Grand Horizons began previews at the Hayes Theater on December 23, 2019, ahead of an official opening on January 23 and a limited engagement through March 1, 2020.
Synopsis: "Bill and Nancy have spent fifty full years as husband and wife. They practically breathe in unison, and can anticipate each other's every sigh, snore and sneeze. But just as they settle comfortably into their new home in Grand Horizons, the unthinkable happens: Nancy suddenly wants out. As their two adult sons struggle to cope with the shocking news, they are forced to question everything they assumed about the people they thought they knew best. By turns funny, shocking and painfully honest, Grand Horizons explores a family turned upside-down and takes an intimate look at the wild, unpredictable, and enduring nature of love."
The creative team behind Grand Horizons includes scenic & costume design by Clint Ramos, lighting design by Jen Schriever, and sound design by Palmer Hefferan.
Grand Horizons is co-commissioned by Williamstown Theatre Festival and Second Stage Theater.
Grand Horizons Tickets are available now for performances through March 1, 2020.
