On Sunday night, the New York Theatre Guide enjoyed a utopian experience as we celebrated Opening Night of David Byrne's American Utopia at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway. This theatrical concert is inspired by New Wave icon David Byrne's seventh solo studio album, alongside a plethora of hits from his days in Talking Heads. It's being so well-received, in fact, that it has just extended its limited engagement through February 16, 2020.

Read Mark Shenton's 4* review of the Broadway premiere here.

After bopping in the aisles to the likes of "Burning Down the House" and "Road to Nowhere," we headed to the official post-show party at Second on 6th Avenue in Manhattan to meet the cast. Take a look at our video guide to the show, featuring David Byrne himself, alongside some of his talented cast mates and choreographer Annie-B Parsons...

David Byrne's American Utopia Tickets are available now for performances through February 16, 2020.
