Synopsis: "Nerds is the new musical dot comedy that plugs into the epic rivalry between two of our culture's biggest icons, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Our story begins long before we all had computers in our pockets and Al Gore 'invented' the Internet, when the founding fathers of technology were tinkering in garages with the beginnings of the computer revolution. Steve, the clairvoyant rock star with swagger, and Bill, the brilliant underdog with a computer chip on his shoulder, competed to change the world, and in the process reprogrammed the way we communicate, create, listen to music, follow our exes, watch videos of kittens, and share photos of the burger we had for lunch."
Nerds: A Musical Dot-Comedy features book & lyrics by Emmy nominees Jordan Allen-Dutton & Erik Weiner, music by Hal Goldberg, and is directed by Casey Hushion and choreographed by Emmy winner and Tony nominee Josh Bergasse.
