Mimi le Duck at New World Stages


The Musical Comedy Mimi le Duck, book and lyrics by Diana Hansen-Youn, music by Brian Feinstein, opens at New World Stages 3 on 31 Oct 2006, following previews from 11 Oct and running through to 24 Dec 2006.

Mimi le Duck: Follows Miriam, a discontented Mormon housewife from Ketchum, Idaho, who, in a moment of desperate inspiration (and a visit from the ghost of Ernest Hemingway), packs her bags and moves to Paris, leaving behind her husband and her career as a duck painter for QVC.

Director by Tom Caruso, Mimi le Duck features Candy Buckley, Robert DuSold, Allen Fitzpatrick, Annie Golden, Ken Jennings, Marcus Neville and Eartha Kitt.

Set design by John Arnone, with costumes by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting by David Lander
