Lincoln Center Theater has announced a new production for Fall 2016. Richard Greenberg's new play The Babylon Line, directed by Terry Kinney, will begin previews at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on 10 November 2016, before an official opening on 5 December and a limited engagement through to 22 January 2017.

Synopsis: "It's 1967. A writer from bohemian Greenwich Village commutes to Levittown to teach a creative writing class. His students discover the power of storytelling to alter their lives, and one special student - a kindred spirit? something more? - reawakens his own artistic impulses."

The cast of The Babylon Line includes Josh Radnor and Elizabeth Reaser, alongside Maddie Corman, Randy Graff, Julie Halston, Michael Oberholtzer, and Frank Wood.

The creative team features scenic design by Richard Hoover, costume design by Sarah J. Holden, lighting design by David Weiner, and sound design by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.

Josh Radnor has previously appeared on Broadway in 'Disgraced' and 'The Graduate.' His off-Broadway credits include 'White Rabbit, Red Rabbit,' and 'Eight Days.' He is perhaps best known for his TV role as Ted Mosby in "How I Met Your Mother."

Elizabeth Reaser has previously appeared off-Broadway in the MCC Theater productions of 'Permission' and 'The Money Shot,' 2ST's 'How I Learned to Drive,' and CSC's 'The Winter's Tale.' She is perhaps best known for her role as Esme Cullen in the "Twilight" movie franchise.
