Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess will host The Tony Awards: Act One, an exclusive pre-show for the Tony Awards ceremony taking place on June 7.
Benanti is a Tony Award winner and five-time Tony nominee known for Broadway roles in Gypsy, She Loves Me, My Fair Lady, Into the Woods, and many more. Six-time Emmy nominee Burgess is well-known for his role as Titus Andromedon on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and he was last seen on Broadway as Mary Todd Lincoln in the Tony-winning comedy play Oh, Mary!
The Tony Awards: Act One broadcast includes additional awards presentations, performances, and other exclusive content not shown on the main broadcast. Act One streams live on Pluto TV from 6:35-8 p.m. on June 7, while the main ceremony, hosted by global pop star P!nk, will air on CBS and Paramount+ from 8-11 p.m.
