John Rochette takes over the role of Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys

Jersey Boys continues its open-ended Off-Broadway engagement at New World Stages.

Oh What a Night for John Rochette! The Jersey Boys alum assumes the role of Tommy DeVito in the hit musical at New World Stages, having played over 3,000 performances in the Broadway, Off-Broadway and touring productions. He replaces Nicolas Dromard and will star alongside Aaron De Jesus (as Frankie Valli), Keith Hines (as Nick Massi), and CJ Pawlikowski (as Bob Gaudio).

The ensembel currently includes Dianna Barger, Tristen Buettel, Rory Max Kaplan, Joey LaVarco, Andrew Frace, Austin Owen, Michelle Rombola, Paul Sabala, Nathan Lee Scherich, and Drew Serkes.

The Broadway musical Jersey Boys opened at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005, closing on January 15, 2017. It later returned to New York, opening at the New World Stages on November 22, 2017.

The tuner features music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

Synopsis: "They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard... and the radio just couldn't get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story -- a story that has made them an international sensation all over again".

Jersey Boys is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Tony Award winner Sergio Trujillo. The production includes music supervision, vocal/dance arrangements & incidental music by Ron Melrose and orchestrations by Steve Orich.

The creative team also features scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, and projection design by Michael Clark. John Miller serves as the music co-ordinator for the production.  

Jersey Boys is produced off-Broadway by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, Latitude Link, and Tommy Mottola. 

Jersey Boys Tickets are available now for performances through May 31, 2020.
