'Jersey Boys' announces full cast, opens at the Virginia Theatre on the 6 Nov 2005

The full cast has been announced for the Broadway premiere of Jersey Boys directed by Des McAnuff (700 Sundays, The Who's Tommy, Big River). The musical will begin previews at the Virginia Theatre on the 4 Oct 2005 (not the 3 Oct as originally announced) and will officially open on the 6 Nov 2005.

Jersey Boys is the new Broadway musical based on the life story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. The musical chronicles the lives of a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide � all before they were thirty. The musical features their hit songs 'Sherry', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Rag Doll', 'Oh What a Night' and 'Can't Take My Eyes Off of You', among others.
