The Atlantic Theater Company has announced that its current production of Hayley Feiffer's I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard at Atlantic Stage 2, has extended its limited run by 2 weeks. It began performances on 7 January 2015, officially opened on 20 January, and is now booking through to 1 March 2015.

The cast of I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard includes Tony nominee Reed Birney as David and star of 'Nurse Jackie' Betty Gilpin as Ella. It is directed by Trip Cullman.

Synopsis: "Ella is a precocious and fiercely competitive actress whose sole aim in life is making her famous playwright father David proud. Over the course of a boozy, drug-fueled evening, Ella and David deliberate over whether to read the reviews of her off-Broadway debut... and things unravel from there. Halley Feiffer's new play pulls the audience into the middle of a deeply complicated relationship and sheds new light on the eternal struggles of parents and children to find common ground."

Reed Birney was nominated for a Tony Award for 'Casa Valentina'. Other Broadway credits include 'Picnic' and 'Gemini'. He is perhaps best know for his TV role as Donald Blythe on Netflix's 'House of Cards'.

Betty Gilpin is perhaps best known for her TV role as Dr. Carrie Roman in the Showtime series 'Nurse Jackie'.

I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard features scenic design by Mark Wendland, costumes by Jessica Pabst, lighting by Ben Stanton and sound design by Daniel Kluger.
