'I Love Paris,' starring Kevin Shinick, closes on the 25 Jul 2005

The role of 'Paris Hilton', has been performed by three separate actors, and is now being played by the original actor Kevin Shinick who left the show last winter. It was first performed by Kevin starting the 26 Jul 2004, and will be performed for the final time by Kevin Shinick on the 25 Jul 2005. Originally after Kevin it was played by a 50 year old magician named Ago, and then by actor/ dancer Aaron Haskell.
Doug Field's comedy I Love Paris, directed by Timothy Haskell, opened at the Blue Heron Arts Centre on the 26 Jul 2004, and the show would have celebrated it's first anniversary on the 26 Jul 2005.
I Love Paris is a one-man show which captures an intimate moment with the world renowned socialite as she prepares to audition for the fifth co-host seat of the ABC daytime television talk show, "The View".
While she waits in the green room, Paris reminisces about her whirlwind life, the high points, the low points and all of the fascinating points in between. Baring it all like never before--her straight to video performance not withstanding--she takes on even the most controversial topics.
Biographies:
Doug Field (playwright) is best known to New York audiences for his hit plays, and , which just played during the 2003 holiday season. The New York Times called Down South "Irresistibly silly" while New York Magazine picked An Enola Gay Christmas as one of the "Top Five Holiday Shows" in New York. PRevious plays include 'Down South,' 'An Enola Gay Christmas,' 'Jeannie Fitzpatrick Is Angry,' and 'C-Cup and Viburnum.' He won the Outstanding Playwright Award for 'The Flower of Dubuque' at the Fritz Blitz Festival of New Plays in San Diego.
Timothy Haskell (Director) Previous credits include: 'Corporate Rock' also at the Blue Heron. He created and directed 'Road House' that transferred from Off-Off Broadway to Off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theatre earlier this season and was the creator of the 'Halloween Adventure Haunted House'. He will be directing the stage version of 'Fatal Attraction' starring Corey Feldman in the Michael Douglas role starting 1 Jul.
Kevin Shinick (Actor ): Host of the Emmy Award winning television series, 'Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?' theatre credits include: 'Night Must Fall' with Matthew Broderick, 'The School For Scandal' with Tony Randall, 'The Seagull' with Ethan Hawke, 'The Government Inspector' with Lainie Kazan, 'Timon of Athens' and 'Saint Joan'. His Off-Broadway credits include Doug Field's previous play 'Down South' at the Rattlestick Theater.
