Lincoln Center Theater has confirmed complete casting for the upcoming LCT3 production of Martyna Majok's new play queens, directed by Danya Taymor, which will begin previews at the Claire Tow Theater on February 10, 2018, before an official opening on February 26 and a limited run through to March 25, 2018.
The all-female ensemble cast includes Jessica Love, Nadine Malouf, Ana Reeder, Andrea Syglowski, Zuzanna Szadkowski, Sarah Tolan-Mee, and Nicole Villamil.
Synopsis: "In queens, the lives of two generations of immigrant women collide in a basement apartment. When the choices they've made about their security, dignity, and desires come back to haunt them, they must ask: what cannot - and should not - be left behind?"
The creative team behind queens features scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Matt Frey, and sound design by Stowe Nelson.
As part of its 2017-2018 season, Lincoln Center Theater is currently presenting the Broadway premiere of Ayad Akhtar's Junk, starring Steven Pasquale, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, as well as Sarah DeLappe's The Wolves at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Other forthcoming LCT productions include the Broadway revival of Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady, directed by Bartlett Sher, and Joshua Harmon's new play Admissions.
