Mon 4 Oct 2004 'Fool For Love' opens 10 Feb 2005 Roundabout Theatre Company's Fool For Love by Sam Shepherd opens at the American Airlines Theatre on the 10 Feb 2005, following previews from 15 Jan 2005. This is a limited engagement through to 3 Apr 2005 Playwright Sam Shepard's work includes 'Buried Child' (1979),'Mad Dog Blues'(1971), 'True West' (1980), 'A Lie of the Mind' (1985), 'Simpatico' (1993) and 'Eyes for Consuela' (1998). In 1994 Sam Shepard was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame. Fool For Love will be directed by Ed Harris, casting and full creative team to be announced shortly. Synopsis: Fool For Love takes place on the barren edge of the Mojave Desert, where two lovers, holed up in a seedy motel, battle for absolute power in their love-hate affair. Passion rages into the wee hours, until the unspoken secret behind their attraction is revealed, proving how dangerously simple it is for anyone to become a fool for love. .
