Eva Noblezada to star in ‘Selena’ drive-in this month
You've only got two nights to see Noblezada in action.
UPDATE: Latin Grammy Award-winner Ella Bric will appear alongside Eva Noblezada.
Following previous performances at Radial Park at Halletts Point Play, the next cinematic experience has been confirmed. Eva Noblezada will lead performances of Selena for two nights on November 20-21.
Released in 1997, the autobiographical movie tells the life of Tejano music star Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, a recording artist who was later murdered. The production will include songs including "I Will Survive", "Funky Town" and "I Could Fall In Love".
Eva Noblezada will star in the production, currently appearing in Hadestown at the Walter Kerr Theatre as Eurydice. She earned her first Tony nomination at 21 for her performance as Kim in the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon.
Selena: A Live Drive-In Experience will be performed at Radial Park at Halletts Point Play, where groups can attend while staying socially distant. Previous shows have included The Phantom of the Opera and Purple Rain.
