Die Mommie Die! at New World Stages

Bob Boyett and Daryl Roth present Die Mommie Die!, a dark comedy written by, and starring, Charles Busch, opening at New World Stages / Stage 1 on 10 Oct 2007, following previews from 21 Oct 2007.

The comedy is running through to 17 Feb 2008, though presently only selling tickets through to 30 Dec 2007.

Die Mommie Die!: Angela Arden, a fallen pop diva is trapped in a hateful marriage to film producer Sol Sussman. Desperate to find happiness with her younger lover, an out-of-work TV actor named Tony Parker, Angela gruesomely murders her husband with the aid of a poisoned suppository. Angela�s manipulative daughter, Edith, convinces her 'emotionally disturbed' brother, Lance, that together they must avenge their father�s death � by killing their mother!

Directed by Carl Andress, Die Mommie Die! also features Bob Ari, Van Hansis, Chris Hoch, Ashley Morris and Kristine Nielson.

The design team comprises of Michael Anania (sets), Jessica Jahn (costumes) and Ben Stanton (lighting). Charles Busch's costumes are designed and created by Michael Bottari and Ronald Case.
