Daguerreotype at the Dorothy Streislin Theater

The American Story Project presents Daguerreotype, by Stephen Aubrey, at the Abingdon's Dorothy Streislin Theater from 2 - 11 Aug 2007.

Daguerreotype: Surrounded by ghosts of a fading era, and besieged by the spirit of his invalid wife, Mathew Brady, the aging daguerreotypist (Photographer) of the Civil War, struggles to devise a legacy. A play about the images that shape history, the images that shape men, and the men who shape history.

Directed by Jess Chayes, Daguerreotype features Edward Bauer as Matthew Brady, Zach LeClair as 'The Image of History' and Hayley Stokar as Juliette Brady.
