Roundabout Theatre Company has set the full cast for its fall production of Covenant, a world-premiere play by York Walker. Performances run from October 5 to December 3 in the Black Box in Roundabout's Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre.

The Covenant Off-Broadway cast includes Crystal Dickinson as Mama, Chaundre Hall-Broomfield as Johnny "Honeycomb" James, Ashley Hildreth as Violet, Jade Payton as Avery, and Lark White as Ruthie.

The complete creative team has yet to be announced.

Tiffany Nichole Greene directs this play about a struggling guitarist who suddenly becomes a blues star. The residents of his Georgia hometown think he made a deal with the devil, but as they spread rumors, more people's dark secrets also come out.

Covenant is the latest play in the Roundabout Underground program, which puts up new works by emerging playwrights at Roundabout's Off-Broadway venue.
