Couldn't Say at Abingdon's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre

Couldn't Say, by Christopher Wall, at Abingdon's Dorothy Strelsin Theatre from 16 Jul - 3 Aug 2008, as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival.

Couldn't Say: When Ethan and Liz are stranded on a deserted highway, the past they've avoided finally catches up to them. Forced to cooperate until help arrives, Ethan and Liz confront the issues that have undermined their marriage: his long hours at work, her history of depression, their emotional and physical estrangement, and the recent death of their son and who, ultimately, is to blame for it.

Directed by Lisa Rothe, Couldn't Say features Elizabeth Rich and Brent Langdon.

The creative team comprises Eliza Brown (sets), Christina Bullard (costume), Melissa Mizell (lighting) and Daniel Kluger (sound).
