Complete casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway transfer of Jez Butterworth's smash-hit play The Ferryman, which comes to New York's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre this fall.

As previously announced, Paddy Considine will reprise his role from the West End production, in which he made his stage debut, and will be joined by fellow London cast members Laura Donnelly and Genevieve O'Reilly.

Set in 1980s Northern Ireland, the play is set at the Carney farmhouse, which is abuzz with activity ahead of the annual harvest. But following a hard day's work in the land, the celebrations are brought to a head when the family is interrupted by a visitor.

The cast also includes include Dean Ashton, Glynis Bell, Gina Costigan, Charles Dale, Justin Edwards, Fra Fee, Fionnula Flanagan, Tom Glynn-Carney, Stuart Graham, Mark Lambert, Carla Langley, Conor MacNeill, Colin McPhillamy, Rob Malone, Dearbhla Molloy, Glenn Speers, and Niall Wright.

Casting is completed by Audrey Bennett, Peter Bradbury, Trevor Harrison Braun, Will Coombs, Carly Gold, Holly Gould, Matilda Lawler, Michael McArthur, Bella May Mordus, Griffin Osbourne, and Brooklyn Shuck, as well as four babies in the role of Bobby Carney, and they will be announced at a later date.

The play premiered at London's Royal Court Theatre, directed by Sam Mendes, reuniting Mendes and Butterworth following their work on the latest James Bond film, Spectre. The play then transferred to the West End's Gielgud Theatre, where it received rave reviews from critics including our partner site LondonTheatre.co.uk, calling it a "complex, beautifully textured play".

Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions, The Ferryman's creative team includes Rob Howell (scenic and costume design), Peter Mumford (lighting design), Nick Powell (sound design and original music), Amy Ball CDG (UK Casting), Jim Carnahan, C.S.A and Jillian Cimini C.S.A. (US Casting), Scarlett Mackmin (choreography), Tim Hoare (associate director), Benjamin Endsley Klein (resident director), Campbell Young Associates (hair, wigs and makeup design), William Berloni (animal trainer), Terry King (UK fight director), Thomas Schall (US fight director), Majella Hurley (UK dialect coach), and Deborah Hecht (US dialect coach).

The Ferryman runs at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre from October 2, 2018, with an official opening night scheduled for October 21.

The Ferryman Tickets are available now for performances from October 2, 2018, through to February 17, 2019.
