Christopher Jackson & Jane Krakowski - Tony Awards
The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing have announced that Tony nominee Christopher Jackson and Tony award winner Jane Krakowski will co-host the Tony Awards Nominations Announcement live from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Ceter on 2 May 2017 at 8.30am.
The Tony Nominations can be viewed on CBS This Morning and in their entirety at www.TonyAwards.com, and NY1, where available.
It was previously confirmed that the Tonys will be returning home to Radio City Music Hall this year as the The 71st Annual Tony Awards - the biggest night in Broadway's theatre calendar - will take place on Sunday, 11 June 2017 at the iconic New York City venue.
The Radio City Music Hall has hosted the Tonys every year since 1997 with only a few exceptions. In 1999, the ceremony was held at the Gershwin Theatre whilst Radio City underwent renovations, and in 2011, 2012 and 2016, the Beacon Theatre had the honor to host the annual event.
Continuing the tradition, CBS will broadcast the ceremony live, as it has done since 1978.
All Broadway productions in the 2016-2017 season, who officially open on or before the eligibility cut-off date of Thursday, 27 April 2017 (and meet all other requirements) can be considered for nominations.
