Application Pending LLC, Randi Zuckerberg and Drew Desky, in association with Rose Polidoro/Charles Coplin, present the world premiere of Application Pending, written by Greg Edwards and Andy Sandberg and directed by Sandberg, which will begin previews at the Westside Theatre Downstairs on 26 January 2015, before an official opening on 10 February, and will continue its limited engagement through to 19 April 2015.

The new comedy about "the hilariously cutthroat world of kindergarten admissions at New York private schools" will star YouTube Sensation Christina Bianco, who will play rookie admissions officer Christine Evans (as well as forty other roles).

Synopsis: "Christine Evans (Bianco) is a kindergarten assistant at Edgely Prep, an elite Manhattan private school with an acceptance rate that puts Harvard's to shame. On the day applications are due, Edgely's head of admissions is ousted in a scandal, and Christine is unexpectedly thrust into the job. With phones ringing off the hook, Christine must balance beleaguered applicants, venal administrators, and an army of parents who will stop at nothing to get their kids in. A timely and incisive comedy, Application Pending pokes loving fun at America's obsession with getting our children into the school that will not only teach finger-painting but also determine the rest of their natural lives. This new Off-Broadway play sends up our perceptions about opportunity, how we attain it, and what it ultimately means to be a good parent."

Application Pending also features scenic design by Colin McGurk, costumes by Tony nominee Michael McDonald, lighting by Tony winner Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Bart Fasbender.

Christina Bianco recently made her West End debut in 'Forbidden Broadway' at the Vaudeville Theatre, which transferred from the Menier Chocolate Factory, and has appeared off-Broadway in 'NEWSical the Musical,' 'Forbidden Broadway Goes To Rehab,' 'Tony and Tina's Wedding,' 'Forbidden Broadway Dances With The Stars,' and 'It Must Be Him.' Bianco shot to viral fame with her YouTube diva impersonations, which have gained over 19 million views.
