Chilina Kennedy & more to star in This Ain't No Disco at Atlantic Theater Company

The world premiere of This Ain't No Disco begins performances off-Broadway on June 29, 2018.

Atlantic Theater Company has now announced casting for its eagerly awaited world premiere musical This Ain't No Disco, featuring music & lyrics by Stephen Trask & Peter Yanowitz and a book by Trask, Yanowitz & Rick Elice, which is scheduled to begin previews at the Linda Gross Theater on June 29, 2018, before an official opening on July 24 and a limited engagement through to August 12, 2018.

The cast of This Ain't No Disco includes (in alphabetical order) Krystina Alabado (as Meesh), Will Connolly (as The Artist), Eddie Cooper (as The D.A.), Tony d'Alelio (as Disco Man), Lulu Fall (as Landa/Landon), Hannah Florence (as Disco Woman), Antwayn Hopper (as Disco Man), Chilina Kennedy (as Binky), Peter LaPrade (as Chad/Rake), John-Michael Lyles (as Disco Man), Krystal Mackie (as Disco Woman), Trevor McQueen (as Staffer/Steve Mass), Nicole Medoro (as Disco Woman), Ian Paget (as Disco Man), Theo Stockman (as Steve Rubell), Samantha Marie Ware (as Sammy), and Antonio Watson (as Charlie).

Synopsis: "Set against the grit, the garbage strikes, the graffiti of 1979 New York City, This Ain't No Disco tells the story of drifters and dreamers searching for their place in the night world of Studio 54 and Mudd Club. In their uptown/downtown quest for revelry and kinship, every decision is fateful in a city where one's fate can turn on a dime bag."

Under the direction of Darko Tresnjak, the creative team behind This Ain't No Disco features choreography by Camille A. Brown, musical direction by Darius Smith, scenic design by Jason Sherwood, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Ben Stanton, sound design by Emily Lazar, and projection design by Aaron Rhyne.

This Ain't No Disco is produced by Atlantic Theater Company in co-operation with Miramax.
